About our 14 Karat Gold Jewelry

OroLatina works with manufacturers around the world to provide its customers with the finest 14 karat gold jewelry available.  While we work with more than one manufacturer, the bulk of our jewelry (approximately 85%) is made in Italy.  The balance is manufactured in the United States and Turkey.

What Does 14 Karat Mean?

14 karat gold is at least 58.33% gold.  Given that 24 karat gold is pure gold, simply divide: 14 / 24 = 58.33%.  The balance is usually other precious metals, such as silver (white gold) & copper (rose / pink / Russian gold).  Different mixtures create different shades & colors of gold.

Is Your Jewelry Gold Plated?

NO.  Absolutely none of our jewelry is gold plated.  ALL of our jewelry is genuine 14 karat gold.  We only sell Fine Gold Jewelry in Genuine 14 Karat Gold.

Where Does Your Gold Jewelry Come From?

More than 85% of our Gold Jewelry comes from the finest manufacturers in Italy, with the balance coming from manufacturers in Turkey and the United States.

Does OroLatina.com Ship Internationally?

Yes. We ship Internationally, however for each region of the world, our Shipping Policy is different due to Foreign Government Regulations, International Shipping Rates and other considerations which are often in a constant state of flux, but you will always get the best rate available. To place an order and have it shipped Internationally, place your order on-line and one of our representatives will follow up with you during your time-zone business hours.

Our prices are in USD and do not include Foreign Government Taxes, Duties, VAT, Tariffs or any other charges beyond applicable United States Government and/or State imposed/mandated taxes (if any).  Please see our International Shipping Policies and our Terms and Conditions for more details.

Please Note:  At the present time we do not ship to the Continent of Africa unless we have been paid via Bank Wire Transfer.  We do not accept any responsibility for any shipments to the Continent of Africa and it is up to the buyer to ensure the safety and security of their own order.  Our responsibility ends when the Carrier (FedEx,  UPS, USPS or other third party) picks up the merchandise from our warehouse to ship to African countries.

Do You Have a Lay-Away Payment Option?

Yes, using our parners at eLayaway. Payment terms are flexible, and generally we require a 25% deposit up front, and then the buyer is required to pay another 25% of the total price of the order every 30 days for 90 days. Once the order is fully paid for, we will ship the purchase(s) immediately.

Custom Orders&Special Orders require a 50% deposit and are non-refundable after 24 hours.

Do You Guarantee Your Jewelry is in Stock?

No.  At the present time we do not have an electronic inventory system in place for our goods.  Statistically speaking, 98% of all orders ship within 48 hours because we carry a significant inventory and therefore this is rarely a problem.  We do not warranty or accept any liability related to purchases made for items that are Out Of Stock, Back Ordered and/or Discontinued.  If an item has been Back Ordered or has been Discontinued we will immediately notify the buyer and offer a full refund or Store Credit promptly, whichever the buyer chooses.  Please see our Legal Notices and Terms & Conditions for more details.
