OroLatina.com respects the privacy of its customers.  We will NOT disclose even the most general demographic information gathered from our customers to a third party or agency unless legally compelled to do so by a United States Court of Law.  We will email you several times a year (a couple of weeks before Mother's Day as an example) to make you aware of special promotions we are running, and new lines of jewelry we may be offering at the time.  We will not email you more than 12 promotional emails in a single year (once a month).

Information we need to collect:

We are unable to process any order that does not contain your name, phone number, billing address, email address, shipping address and credit card information.

We strictly use this information to create your account and to process your order. If there is a problem with your order, we will first attempt to contact you by email.  After 24 hours have elapsed we will attempt to reach you by phone.  If more than a week (seven (7) days) passes and we cannot reach you your order will be cancelled and any monies received by us will be refunded less a 5% or $150 administrative fee, whichever is less.

During the order process, some of your information WILL BE transmitted to one or more third parties (such as our gateway to the creditor's network and/or our bank) but only that information which is strictly required will be securely encrypted and sent.  At no time will your credit card information be transmitted over any network by us in a "clear text" format, nor will your credit card information (credit card number, expiration date and CCV) be stored on our systems unencrypteed.  Your personal information (name, address, phone number) will be stored on our systems but will not be distributed to any third party without your expressed, written consent. However, we can be legally compelled to transmit information to a third party (such as the Federal Bureau of Investigations) via a court order, and if so compelled must comply.

When you visit our site, we assign you a unique customer identification number in the form of a cookie. We use this ID to keep track of your shopping basket during your visit and to identify you as a repeat visitor.

If you would rather not be identified as a repeat visitor, you may disable the cookie support in your browser, although you may not be able to use all of the sites features without it.

Internet Protocol (IP) Address

We record your IP address each time you visit OroLatina.com. Recording IP addresses helps us determine usage and traffic patterns.
